HCV Can Be Cured: Overview of Guidelines for Screening and Treatment of HCV in the Age of Direct-Acting Antivirals

Presented by AAOHN and supported by a grant from the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR), this webinar will offer healthcare providers an overview of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) as well as current screening recommendations, evaluation and treatment of chronic HCV. You will gain a better understanding of HCV disease and how more screening and new all-oral treatment medications will increase cure rates.
Upon completion of this session, the learner will be able to:
- Describe current screening recommendations for HCV
- Describe a plan for the evaluation and treatment of clients with HCV
