Opportunity to run for CECRAOHN Board of Directors!

The CECRAOHN Nominations Committee invites you to consider running for a position on the Board of

Directors. The terms of office are two years, and we are formulating a ballot for an election in Fall 2016.

Come be an important part of our local occupational health nursing community!

Open positions:

1. Membership Director: This position does recruitment and retention of members, using best

practices from AAOHN, in addition to innovative ideas from the Board and members.

2. Government Affairs Director: This position monitors important California legislative, regulatory,

and policy changes that may impact occupational health and the OHN role, working

collaboratively with the CSAOHN Board member from our region, the AAOHN Government

Affairs Committee and WOEMA.

3. Programs Director: This position is one of two Program Directors, who are responsible for

designing and facilitating CE programs for our members, with the goal to outreach to members

from different parts of our large region. Webinars will be piloted this year.

4. Communications Director: This position monitors our CECRAOHN website and our Facebook

page, ensuring that the website is updated with high utility as the key communication tool to

our CECRAOHN membership. In 2016, our CECRAOHN website was recognized with the AAOHN

Chapter Communications Award!

Additionally, there is one position open on Nominations:  Nominations Committee prepares an annual ballot for open Board and Nominations Committee elections.

Active, retiree, and student members with current membership are able to hold elected positions.

Consent to serve with a short biography is required to be placed on the ballot. Please contact one of us if you have any questions.
