Organized by the Department of Internal Medicine at UCSF Fresno, the conference will present the following themes: state of air in the Central Valley of California; air pollution and its effects on obstructive airway diseases; climate change and its effect on air pollution; and medium- and long-term solutions to combat climate change and air pollution.
In keeping with our mission to have a meaningful impact on the direction of medicine in California's Central Valley, the goal of our conference is to provide current clinical updates in air pollution and climate change to physicians, surgeons, mid-level providers, and nurses in our region, between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
