July 23rd- Greening Healthcare Workshop

Greening Healthcare workshop hosted by UCSF Office of Sustainability, California Community Colleges, California State Universities, and the University of California as part of the CA Higher Education Sustainability Conference.

Target audience are all healthcare and EVS professionals. The workshop will be held at the Betty Irene Moore Women's Hospital auditorium at UC San Francisco's Mission Bay campus. Renown speakers will present on greening healthcare, climate change and health, environmental health, and antibiotics and meat. Breakout sessions will touch on waste reduction, reprocessing, reusable linens, green teams, sustainable food, anesthesia gases, and an optional tour of the LEED gold hospital. Space is limited so register early!

$15 registration fee includes breakfast and lunch and CEU's available for nurses, social workers, REHS, and dietitians. Email distribution and posting in staff break rooms would be highly appreciated!
