There is an open NP position in the Sacramento Employee Health clinic__SMCS-2006592Nurse Practitioner - Employee Health. 

Position Overview:

 The Nurse Practitioner performs medical evaluations and provides consultation to employees. Evaluates and treats Sutter Health employees injured at work or exposed to communicable disease or chemical hazards at work.  The Nurse Practitioner(NP) is responsible for providing medical care services in an ambulatory care setting working under the supervision of a physician, has primary responsibility for the medical issues of the department as well as employer and patient satisfaction. Provides direct patient care for patients: coordinates the delivery of services with employers and management team; facilitates employee health programs, blood borne pathogen counseling and workplace clinics. They work cooperatively with licensed, administrative and support staff to ensure the on-going operation of the department. The NP directly supervises health care professionals and support staff in compliance with the state of California Nurse Practice Act, certification and standards.
