Hear from and interact with experts in areas such as medical monitoring, ethics, gender health, CalOSHA standards, hepatitis C care, TB testing for healtch care workers, emergency preparedness, and Workers' Compensation law.

Thursday November 14
Today we start things off by checking assumptions about diabetes and obesity care, hear about trauma informed care, and discuss policy updates.
Friday November 15
Today we will cover a range of topics including worker's compensation law, hepatitis C, TB testing, emergency preparedness, and the Cal-OSHA standards board. CSAOHN will also have an annual business meeting at lunchtime and have time to mingle with vendors. CECRAOHN will have our annual member meeting and CE event at 6pm Friday evening, then many of us will head out for a social dinner afterward (details on this to come).
Saturday November 16
Today we examine some gender health issues, hold a panel presentation on professional membership, have student presentations, and cover bloodborne pathogen medical monitoring.

Target Audience
This conference will benefit occupational health nurses, case managers, nurse practitioners, and others interested or working in occupational and environmental health and safety.
Continuing Nursing Education
The purpose of this conference is to enable the learner to increase their personal knowledge of occupational and environmental health issues that are new or challenging.
This continuing nursing education activity was submitted to the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) for approval to award 15 contact hours. AAOHN is an accredited approver of continuing nursing education contact hours by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. is additionally approved as a CNE provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (#CEP9283)
The program has been submitted to the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) for approval to provide board certified case managers with 15 clock hours.
Successful completion and award of continuing nursing educational (CNE) credits requires the participant to be registered for the activity, sign in daily, verify the hours they have attended, and complete the evaluation form. If the evaluation form is not returned by the end of the conference or session is not attended CNE contact hours may be adjusted.
