CA Nurses needed to attend the public hearing in Fresno, CA on the roll back of the clean cars standards.

Dear CECRAOHN Members,

The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments is looking for CA nurses to attend the public hearing in Fresno, CA on the roll back of the clean cars standards. These standards help to ensure that automakers are pushed to make more fuel efficient cars to help reduce air pollution and pollution that drives climate change. EPA will hold a public hearing in which people can attend and provide comments as to why these rollbacks should/should not occur. We'd like to get a few nurses to attend to share from a health perspective why rolling back these standards will be harmful to human health.

Here is the information on the hearing in CA:

September 24, 2018 hearing will be held at the The Grand 1401, 1401 Fulton Street, Fresno, California 93721
Let me know if you are interested or if you know anyone who might be. Typically speakers are given 3-5 minutes to share comments and we are happy to help with drafting remarks if needed. Here is the link to register to testify or attend any of the cleaner cars rollback hearings. Let me know if you do sign up.

Thank you,

Cara
