Fiona Wilson grew up locally, attended Harvard Medical School and did her internal medicine residency at UCSF. She practiced primary care for many years before moving into health care administration at Brown & Toland Physicians, initially as Chief of Quality and ended as their Chief Medical Officer. She joined CCSF 5 years ago as the COVID pandemic had just started.
Dr. Wilson's position is in Department of Human Resources and has evolved beyond COVID and includes new
work around the use of appropriate medical exams in hiring, Workplace Violence, and Illness and injury
prevention, all with an eye towards prevention and increasing safety and security for CCSF employees.
