Join us at the East Bay SPCA to learn about zoonotic diseases. 

Speaker(s) and topics to include:

Cynthia Karsten, DVM, DABVP, Outreach Veterinarian at UCD’s Koret Shelter Medicine Program ( will present on zoonotic diseases that shelter workers may be at risk of being exposed to and on feral cat management.

Chloe Chien, MD, Occupational and Environmental Health Resident at UCSF will present on the management of zoonotic disease and animal bites in humans.

CE for RNs will be available.

  • RVSP early (we are limited to 20 participants)
